Sichuan   Province  Silk  Import  &  Export Group Co.,Ltd is established by reformation of Sichuan Silk Import  &  Export  Company  and Sichuan Province  Silk Company.    The  corporation  lies  in Chengdu city, Sichuan province, named 'The Land of Abundance'.

Sichuan  is  the  cradle  land  of  Chinese  silkworm  and  silk,   and   has  the  name  of ' The Old
Country of Silkworm',it is the famous hometown of silk.

Before  over  2000 years, Sichuan silks was sold to Middle Asia, West Asia and Europe  through the  world-famous  'Silk Road' ,  and  became  a  resplendent  bright  pearl to link the culture and trade between the East and the West.

The  world  silk  lies  in  China,  Chinese silk lies in Sichuan; Sichuan is one of the biggest silk manufacturing  and  export base.  The  centuries-old  history  of  growing  mulberry   &   feeding silkworm,  manufacturing  silk and advantaged natural condition of Sichuan, the advantageous conditions of  ' West Silk worm to East Transportation'   and  ' West  China  Great  Exploitation' , make the favorable terms for the fleetly development of the business to the corporation.

The corporation is a huge comprehensive modern enterprise for  'Trade,  Industry,  Agriculture, Science & Research',  mainly  deal  in manufacturing and development of cocoon, silk product, import & export industries, wholesale and retail of all kinds of commodities.

The  yearly  export  foreign exchange value of the corporation is about 10% of Sichuan province total export value,  the yearly total silk product export value is about 70-80% of the province and comes  out  top  of  the  former three of same industries in China, and is one of the 500 strong enterprise  of  China total import & export value and 200 strong enterprise of Chins total export value.
